Gold Skulltulas Will Be Included in Hyrule Warriors

The Hyrule Warriors Nintendo Direct has confirmed that Gold Skulltulas will included in the game. Just like in typical Zelda games, the Gold Skulltulas will be hidden throughout the different stages of Hyrule Warriors. They also make similar noises to the Gold Skulltulas hidden around in Ocarina of Time which will help lead the player to their location.

Not much is known at the moment about the purpose of the Gold Skulltulas. The only hint we have is that, when Link kills one in the Nintendo Direct, a notification pops up saying that the player has collected an “Illustration Piece.”
