To celebrate the announcement of Hyrule Warriors Legends on the 3DS during Nintendo’s E3 digital event, as we reported last week a Classic Tunic costume for Link was added to the already released Wii U version of Hyrule Warriors as a small free update! YouTuber ZeldaMaster has demonstrated how awesome the costume is in a 20-minute video of gameplay with the new DLC. Make the jump to check out footage of the new nostalgia trip in costume form!

During today’s official reveal of Hyrule Warriors Legends at the Nintendo E3 Digital Event today, it would seem a piece of news regarding the latest Hyrule Warriors DLC was dully noted. In honor of Nintendo’s big reveal, Nintendo had just recently released a Hrule Warriors Wii U update that now allows fans yet another DLC costume. During the Nintendo Direct a couple days ago, we received clarification regarding the upcoming Majora’s Mask DLC pack for Hyrule Warriors. While we already knew its release day and the two characters to arrive with it, we were only thrown a hint as to what the new costumes would be. Now, with some official art and screenshots, we know exactly what we’re getting, and yes, it’s what we all expected – but a little different than we pictured it…

About a week ago, the European eShop announced the release of the DLC costume set for Hyrule Warriors. Many fans were wondering when North America would receive this item, and they are now available for purchase for 99 cents each. Although Hyrule Warrior sold much better than Nintendo anticipated, it isn’t the first game to be spawned from the Dynasty Warriors franchise. Its sister series, Samurai Warriros, has had numerous games released across multiple platforms since its first game back in 2004.
