It’s been over a year since Nintendo has graced us with any words on the possibility of Majora’s Mask 3D coming to fruition. It’s been just about two years since Operation Moonfall itself started a movement based upon Eiji Aonuma’s own words on the possibility of a such a creation. The movement has gone on to inspire 38,000+ Facebook followers and 54,000+ Petition signers, with literally hundreds of emails sent to Nintendo. When The Wind Waker HD was announced, many Operation Moonfall fans lost hope. Clearly Nintendo must be ignoring us if they gave us The Wind Waker HD, right?

How wrong we may all be. Last year, Eiji was spotted saying we wouldn’t see Majora’s Mask 3D until after a new Zelda game came out – while he wasn’t direct about it’s clear it was a reference to a new Zelda game for the 3DS. This November that release becomes a reality, with A Link Between Worlds arriving in many of our homes. That means now is the time to show Nintendo just how badly we want Majora’s Mask 3D to occur yet again. More importantly, if all else fails, you are about to at least have the opportunity it own a part of history that is limited in availability but completely priceless. Today, in conjunction with Lydon Willoughby, Operation Moonfall has Kickstarted its next big move.

Below you will see two distinct poster designs, posters that will be hand printed through the silk-screening process as explained in the Kickstarter video.

The idea is to naturally give the Operation Moonfall fans a chance to own part of history. Why are these posters part of history?

Should funding for this project be successful, signed copies of the Operation Moonfall print will be sent to the offices of Eiji Aonuma, Satoru Iwata, Reggie Fils-Aime, and the one and only Shigeru Miyamoto, along with the names of every backer for this Kickstarter project. This will be done to show these titans of the gaming industry our thanks and appreciation for their role in giving us a new look at the world of Termina. In addition, backers who pledge ‘Fierce Deity’ level will have their name physically printed on these posters as well as on their own purchased copy, labeling you as a Majora’s Mask mega fan (and showing Nintendo that too)!

As you can see, these are the very posters that Operation Moonfall intends to put in the hands of various Nintendo execs to show fan support for Majora’s Mask 3D. Fans have done emails, online petitions, and social media support. What we haven’t done together is give Nintendo something tangible they can hold – and that is exactly what this project will accomplish. We’re awaiting the countdown together. What are you waiting for? Go get your hands on one of these kick ass prints. Even if we never see Majora’s Mask 3D, you’ll always own a piece of fan movement history – and something we can personally guarantee reaches the hands of Nintendo.
