UntitledMichael Eurek, an avid animator at Vimeo, has recreated the Temple of Time from Ocarina of Time, using Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 4. It is always great to see old games we love recreated in modern quality, but videos like this also give fans an idea of what we might be able to expect for future games.

This is awesome, to put it simply. There appear to be slight changes to the temple’s design, but that is really to be expected, and they certainly fit well. The detail is fantastic, and you can see everything, right down to dust floating in the air. The new graphics still look slightly unrealistic and cartoony in certain spots, but that would more or less fit the style of a Zelda title, I believe. The Wii U should be powerful enough to handle these kinds of visuals, so Zelda Wii U could very well end up with an HD look like this.

What did you guys think? If another old Zelda game were remade, would you like it to look like this? Leave a comment below!
