Nintendo_World_NYCRecently on Twitter, Nintendo World has announced that they will be releasing A Link Between Worlds and Mario Party: Island Tour, and Super Mario 3D World four hours before its official release date, November 22nd. For those unfamiliar with Nintendo World, it is a Nintendo store located in Rockefeller Plaza in New York, New York. Don’t believe me? Hit the jump to see the tweet itself.

It is not fully clear onto why Nintendo World is doing this other than to help promote the game by releasing it to the demographic of people in Manhattan. No other place has announced an early release, creating the inference that this is a Nintendo World only promotion.

I personally find this a bad move on Nintendo. Releasing three of there currently most anticipated games early, in one of its most busiest retail stores, causing a terrible leak of gameplay footage, plot information, and basically everything that made people anticipate the three games.

Honestly I will be a bit afraid to look at anything Nintendo related, unless I am willing to give up looking forward to play the games. But what do you guys think? Was this a good idea, or was it a terrible idea? Let me know in the comments below!
