Latest Breath of the Wild Trailer Reveals it as a Switch Launch Game

Well, the time for speculation has come to an end. Breath of the Wild, once rumored to be delayed yet again, is arriving March 3rd, the same day as the Nintendo Switch. This makes it the defacto day one buy for Switch owners. Unfortunately, we do not know if the game will also launch on the Wii U that day, though details on that are sure to come in the coming hours and days. They announced this at the very end of Switchmas, with an epic trailer that showed off more variety in the game than we had ever seen before.

In fact, I don’t know what excites me more – that the game finally has a firm release date, or that the trailer simply looked that good. This is far away the best trailer to date for this game, and it’s safe to assume this was all 100% switch footage. Enjoy, then let us know what you think in the comments below!
