Ninjatoes has created a template for a life-sized model of the King of Red Lions and Josh Darrah has taken on a daunting and difficult task of constructing it using paper! It is very well made and it’s one of the best papercrafts I’ve seen. I can’t even imagine the time it must have taken to build this piece, or how much paper it must have used up. You can even attempt to build it yourself if you’re feeling adventurous. There is quite a lot of detail put into this work, so make sure to check out all the pictures and where to get the template by making the jump!

I’m really tempted to get a group of friends together and try and make the King of Red Lions. If you want to try it yourself, you can get the downloads from here. I’m not sure how it would work out for me though, I manage to have trouble putting together paper boxes for Easter.

So what did you think? Love this papercraft? Going to try it at home? Tell us in the comments!
