Japanese box art revealed for The Wind Waker HD

A lot of news over The Wind Waker HD has been pouring out of Japan over the past month. But very few specific details have been presented, until we finally got a Japanese release date for the game, which you can view here if you haven’t seen it already. Sadly, that still doesn’t mean much for those of us in North America, but it’s progress. However, with that release date, we have also been given the box art for its release in Japan. Unfortunately, it is not really a new image on the cover, but it’s cool to see nevertheless. In fact I’ve had an expanded version of this image as my desktop background for quite some time. Anyway, it’s probably safe to say this won’t be the cover for the North American version as the box art is almost never the same, although I think the Japanese covers are usually better.

So what do you guys think of the box art? Is it what you expected, better, or worse?
