With the release of its sequel (hopefully) approaching, now is the perfect time to revisit Breath of the Wild. For those who finished almost everything in the game, a newly discovered glitch may provide a way to spice up your playthrough. Champion Daruk’s mild-mannered descendent Yunobo usually follows Link around Death Mountain until he accesses the Divine Beast Vah Rudania. But thanks to glitch hunters EndSheins and ThornyFox, a simple new exploit allows players to keep Yunobo as a permanent travel buddy.

To perform this exploit, the player will need to be at the point in the Vah Rudania quest just before crossing the Bridge of Elden. Don’t talk to Yunobo. Instead, push him backward down the path leading away from the bridge — this can be done easily using a metal minecart — and defer to the video for the right amount of distance to push him. Only talk to him once he is far enough away from the bridge. He will then begin to follow Link, and will go with him anywhere! Yunobo can even join Link in the final battle with Ganon.

Given that Yunobo is not exactly meant to follow you everywhere, there are a few situations in which he will act strangely or just spawn out, like when too many enemies are on screen or Link falls from a ledge. But that’s all part of the fun.

Will you be trying this simple glitch? Where would you want to take Yunobo first? Let us know in the comments!
