Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Local Co-op Confirmed
Posted on September 08 2020 by David Lasby
Nintendo has now confirmed that local two-player co-op will be available in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. Those who enjoyed the feature in the first game will be able to grab a friend and cut down swarms of Guardians together!
Nintendo explains, “Pass a Joy-Con™ to a friend and take on Calamity Ganon as a team in local co-op multiplayer. Fight side-by-side or divide your efforts to cover more ground, complete objectives, or defeat the forces of darkness!”
There’s no word yet on whether an online co-op mode will be available or not, or even a local connection co-op. For now, it appears the option, like in the original Hyrule Warriors, is limited to a shared-screen experience. We’ll keep you updated if any news becomes available of additional ways to play Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity with friends.
Tell us what you think. Would you play this game in co-op mode? Should Nintendo make an online feature available? Share your ideas in the comments.
