Earlier this year, Japanese figure giant Good Smile Company announced that the Breath of the Wild incarnation of Princess Zelda would be joining their popular Nendoroid line. The announcement was released alongside a piece concept art showing what the figure will ultimately look like, and we’ve been waiting for more information ever since. Over the weekend, Good Smile offered an exciting update by giving fans a first look at the painted prototype of the new Zelda figure.

The Breath of the Wild Zelda Nendoroid is obviously based on the princess’ appearance from the latest Zelda title. As we saw in the concept art released a few months ago, Zelda will wear her blue Champion-style clothes and hold her own Sheikah Slate. Nendoroids are known for their customizable facial expressions and props, so we’re sure this new Princess Zelda figure will come with even more display options. We don’t know what other accessories will come with the figure yet, but Good Smile promises that more information is coming soon.

As with most Nendoroids, I find this new Zelda figure extremely adorable. What do you think of the design? What props or accessories would you like to see included with the figure? Let us know in the comments below!
