Dillon’s Rolling Western is a brand new Nintendo game that released on the Nintendo 3DS eShop earlier today. The game was made by Vanpool, an independent Japanese game developer who for our purposes, is best known for creating some of the various Tingle games for the Nintendo DS. I hadn’t heard of this game until today, but just looking at it, I almost immediately associated the graphical style with that of Spirit Tracks. Perhaps the whole western feel also relates to Spirit Tracks, given the emphasis on Trains. Then of course the hearts in corner of the screen that are used as health. In any case, the game is now available for the Nintendo 3DS eShop, selling for $9.99. According to Reggie Fils-Aime, there is 20 hours of gameplay in this title, so it’s no small game by any means.
