Tears of the Kingdom took the expanse of Breath of the Wild and added even more to explore. Sky islands, caves, and The Depths all give more dimension to a Hyrule we already thought was massive. In addition to various ingredients for meals and elixirs, as well as the infamous Koroks, players can now collect Poes, Lights of Blessing, and monster parts that can be fused to arrows and weapons for more attack power. There are also story-driven items like memories and sages, as well as clothing items.

While the large amount of content portends that these things are collected randomly as you play, if you are working towards a particular goal, you might farm something specific. Perhaps a Great Fairy needs ten rubies to enhance a piece of clothing or perhaps you are scouring caves for more Bubbulfrogs. On my file, I’ve been focusing on getting more shrines. I would like to fight some of the stronger enemies like Gleeoks, but I want to be maxed out on hearts since I lack the courage to do them otherwise. So far, I’ve just been marking where they are on my map, taking a picture, and getting out as fast as I can.
