When you look at this image of Link, what colors make up his clothing? Think you know the answer? Well, what if I told you that the internet just can’t decide on the colors of this mysterious garment? These are the Hero’s New Clothes, and no one can agree on their actual color. Some say the outfit is simply blue and white, but others swear they see a different set of colors. Through countless hours of heated arguments and fruitless analyses, we still can’t figure it out. No matter how sick we are of these types of arguments, we still want a good reason why each person perceives the Hero’s New Clothes differently…
Here’s what we know: the Hero’s New Clothes are worn by young men when they come of age as a tribute to the great Hero of Time. Other than that, the specifics about this legendary apparel are the subject of great debate among fans. Some believe the discrepancy in the attire’s visuals are caused by how an individual compensates for lighting or focus when looking at our blonde-haired hero. However, others attribute the mysterious qualities of the ensemble to magical threads that only an honest person can see.
