Recently, Nintendo reaffirmed that the upcoming second batch of DLC for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is still on track for a Winter 2017 release. After being mum on the subject for quite some time, series producer Eiji Aonuma tried to quell fears by saying that the development team is “currently working on it with great effort” and “it’ll be available by the end of this year”.
Frankly, I call shenanigans.
Something just doesn’t smell right regarding the lack of promotion, details, and information about The Champions’ Ballad, and I just don’t see it being feasible to stick to that Winter 2017 release, especially when Nintendo has another big December title (Xenoblade 2) coming out, as much as I’d like to be proven wrong.
So let’s cut to the chase: do you think The Champions’ Ballad is coming out this year? Why or why not? Let’s hash it out in the comments below!
