Daily Debate: Should the Zelda Series Retire Ganondorf?

A good game is nothing without its fantastic villains, and Zelda has one big baddie who we never seem to get tired of. Ganondorf, the Gerudo King, the Demon King, the King of Evil–whichever title you prefer–is without a doubt, Link and Zelda’s arch nemesis. It’s never not thrilling to go toe-to-toe with this terrifying giant. However, we have seen so many incarnations of him at this point in the series, I wonder, have we seen the last of this main bad guy for a while? With Tears of the Kingdom’s grand finale of a boss fight against him behind us, what is next for the future of the Zelda series?
My favorite Zelda games always involve Ganondorf facing off with Link and Zelda. It’s a classic formula that ties our three main characters together and I never really get tired of it. But I have enjoyed other baddies like Demise, Vaati, and Majora (*shudders*). With that being said, do you think we will see a new bad guy rise from the ashes in the next game? Have we seen the last of the Gerudo King?
