Daily Debate: Do You Think That We Will Return to Skyloft or the City in the Sky in Breath of the Wild 2?

In the Nintendo Direct shown at this year’s E3 it was revealed that the upcoming sequel to Breath of the Wild will allow us to return to the skies of Hyrule. There have been a few locations in the Sky over the history of The Legend of Zelda; two of the most notable being Skyloft from Skyward Sword and the City in the Sky from Twilight Princess. Do you think that we might see remnants or throwbacks to these locations in Breath of the Wild 2?
Breath of the Wild had a lot of Easter eggs and throwbacks for long time Zelda fans, and I have no doubt that Breath of the Wild 2 will do the same. I would hope that returning to the skies of Hyrule would show us locations or throwbacks to Skyloft or the City in the Sky. I could see Skyloft more so than City in the Sky only because Skyloft is such a major location in the Zelda series. Skyloft was where the story started. It’s where the first incarnations of Zelda and Link were from. It would be amazing to see Skyloft be featured as a sky location. Maybe Skyloft would play a pivotal part of the storyline of Breath of the Wild 2? I can’t wait to find out!
I also wouldn’t mind seeing the City in the Sky references as well. City in the Sky housed the Sky Temple in Twilight Princess, and if Breath of the Wild 2 were to return to a traditional dungeon model a Sky Temple like dungeon would be an amazing throwback to Twilight Princess. I’m very excited to see what the Sky in Breath of the Wild 2 will hold for us, and I really hope that we return to some popular locations from the Sky from previous Zelda titles.
