When one typically thinks of the Zelda franchise, they probably think of the first game in the series that they played, their overall favorite Zelda game, or one of the immensely-popular 3D titles. Unfortunately, several solid games are often overlooked. Perhaps the most neglected ones are the Oracle games, Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons, and the DS titles, Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks. But which set of games is more underrated?

Both sets seem to be among the least-played Zelda games for some reason, and they also seem to be looked down upon. Yet, the Oracle games are arguably some of the most puzzle-focused games in the series, and the DS games are charming in their own right. Oracle of Ages seems to be one of the most mentally challenging Zelda games, and Spirit Tracks has an interesting story and one of the most fleshed-out versions of Princess Zelda herself. And none of these games are inherently bad. While they may not be the best games ever, they certainly can be enjoyable!

So what do you think? Which set of Zelda games gets more undeserved hate? Which ones do you prefer? Leave your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
