Animator MajorLink has made a pattern of reanimating key scenes from games like Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask. Bringing a fresh look or a different perspective, the high-quality animations serve as a celebration of the Hero of Time and his iconic story.

This animation in particular showcases the scene with Sheik and Link in Kakariko Village, highlighting the heroism of not only those two characters, but of Navi as well. A very character-driven moment, “Unbreakable” breaches a friendliness between Sheik, Link, and Navi, achieved by their dialogue and by the expression of the characters’ emotions. The animation additionally delves into the danger and peril of the fires that have erupted in Kakariko Village and the elusive shadow that broke free of its seal, causing Impa’s disappearance. Accompanied with music remixed by composer Brock Hewitt and sound by SoundWeebJay, the animation oozes the charm of Ocarina of Time.

More of MajorLink’s work can be seen on his channel and in the English dubs of Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask produced by Zelda Universe. The animator has also teased his own upcoming series entitled “A Hero’s Purpose” that follows Link after the events of Majora’s Mask.
