Cave of Trials: Week Four – Link vs Revali

Welcome to the Cave of Trials. The premise is simple: Every week, two characters from The Legend of Zelda series will duke it out for the Zelda Informer Championship. Whoever has more votes at the end of the week, wins. This is strictly a popularity contest, not who you think would win in a fight; so vote for who you like better! The winner will then go on next week to defend the title against a new challenger, as decided by you guys! That’s right, leave a name in the comments of who you want to see step up next and the character with the most votes will get their chance to dethrone the champion next week! Be warned though – a character only has one shot, so choose wisely. If a champion is successful in defending their title for six weeks in a row, that champion will be retired and the title declared vacant!

We’re back this week in the Cave, as a new challenger approaches.

Link has been an unstoppable force so far, running roughshod over Vaati, Linebeck, and now Agahnim, soundly defeating the dark wizard in last week’s contest. With just three more victories, Link will enter the Hall of Fame and be retired as Champion.

Not so fast though – stepping up this week to knock that kid down a peg or two is (according to him) the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be: Revali! This week, the Champion of the Rito / long lost brother of Falco gets his shot at revenge against Link, who stole his thunder as Hero of Hyrule!

Will Revali be able to out-maneuver the Champion and grab the Zelda Informer Title? Or will his bad attitude cost him against Link’s path of destruction? Only YOU can decide! And remember to vote for who you want to he next week’s challenger!
