What’s this?! The 400th Zelda Dungeon Caption Contest?! Before we kick things off, I just want to thank every single person out there who has participated in this feature over the years and made this community so dang fun to be a part of. I never thought we’d still be adding funny sayings to Zelda screenshots after all these years.

Anyway, as I promised in our last contest, we’re going to spotlight some of the characters introduced in Tears of the Kingdom over the next few contests. And this week, King Rauru and Queen Sonia are the guests of honor.

Our Last Contest:

Mineru showed off her plushie collection last time around.

Here are our non-photo caption winners:

  • IceRod: Will you choose the red “pill” or the blue one?
  • Kestron: If Tony Stark got into a pillow fight:
  • Crescendo 64: “What do you mean, you don’t like them? Ahhh, get stuffed!
  • Darknut: Robots need Stuff animals to go to bed too, ya know.
  • Guinea: Look, all we got is strawberry and vanilla, take it or leave it.

This Week’s Contest:

This screenshot reminds me of the classic trunk shot from Quentin Tarantino films.

Here are the guidelines:

  • Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
  • If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
  • Have fun and be creative!

Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows?  Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners.
