Caption Contest 399: Robot Wars
Posted on January 22 2024 by Rod Lloyd
Hi there, Zelda fans! It’s the start of a new week, and that means a new Zelda Dungeon Caption Contest is about to kick off. We’ve been featuring nothing but Tears of the Kingdom screenshots for over half a year now, and there are still plenty of characters from the game that have not yet had their time in the spotlight. It’s time we changed that! So, starting this week, we’ll be giving some Tears of the Kingdom characters the Caption Contest debut they deserve, starting with Sage of Spirit Mineru (in her Construct form).
Last Week’s Contest:
We rocketed to the moon last week.
Here are our photoshop caption winners:
By: James Kelly
Here are our non-photo caption winners:
- Kestron: To infinity, and beyond!
- Happy Mask Employee: We chose to go to the moon. We choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are hard, but because Link’s arm makes them easy.
- Evotar Lavos: So, we got the personal rocket down. Now we just need a space suit that can survive re-entry. No, Link, don’t try to test it!!
- Vince: Going on a trip, in my favorite rocket ship! Zooming through the skies, little Link-stein!
- IceRod: 1.Find cape 2. “Excelsior!”
This Week’s Contest:
We’re really breaking the spoiler seal with this one.
Here are the guidelines:
- Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
- If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
- Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
- Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
- Have fun and be creative!
Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows? Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners.
