Caption Contest 301: Motocrossed

How’s it going, Zelda fans? Are you ready for another exciting edition of Zelda Dungeon’s weekly Caption Contest? One of the great things about coming off of an exciting E3 is that Nintendo typically releases a ton of new screenshots from many of their upcoming games. And this year was no different. My contest folder is filled to the brim with fresh Breath of the Wild 2 and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity images, so let’s pull one out for this week’s contest!

Last Week’s Contest:

We featured the first of many new screenshots from Breath of the Wild 2 during last week’s contest.

Here are our non-photo caption winners:

  • Christian Puddington: “I have been falling for thirty minutes!”
  • J.A.Grove: “Wait… Isn’t Fi supposed to auto deploy the parachute?”
  • Julie Mae Javier: SPOTTED: Hyrulean man skydived without parachute dies of Guardian lasers
  • IceRod: “Don’t jump – there is so much to live for!”
News: “Breath of the Wild 2 may not come out until 2023.”
    ….
  • Caleb Su: Fi: Master, there is a 90% chance that your fall will result in considerable damage.

This Week’s Contest:

Breath of the Wild? More like Born to be Wild.

Here are the guidelines:

  • Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
  • If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
  • Have fun and be creative!

Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows?  Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners.
