Hey, everyone! The Zelda Dungeon Caption Contest returns after a week break, so I hope you’re ready to share your best quips and witticisms with us. Now, as the release of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity‘s first wave of DLC draws ever near, we want to continue looking at silly screenshots from the base game. And this week’s image features our hero Link trying on a peculiar disguise.

Our Last Contest:

I used Blood Moon Week as an excuse to indulge in my Bloodborne fascination in our last contest.

Here are our non-photo caption winners:

  • Fellow4Eyed: “when your mom calls you by your full name”
  • SkyloftianD6: “It’s true, I don’t have a body, but I’m here. This is my punishment for setting foot on holy ground where mortals are forbidden. I made a mistake, Zelda, and I’m paying for it.”
  • Hello: My ultimate goal here is to scare the living heck out of everyone who looks at this picture
So far, I think it’s working
  • Tober: “Red bulbs were at a discount”
  • Teodor the Knight: An annoying sister: You really wanna sebe something from BotW2, right? So here it comes! (Shows this image)
    Me: That’s from BotW1

This Week’s Contest:

I can only imagine what benefit there is for dressing up as a Bokoblin…

Here are the guidelines:

  • Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
  • If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
  • Have fun and be creative!

Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows?  Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners.
