Happy Blood Moon Week, everyone! In case you missed it: in honor of the real-life blood moon taking place this Wednesday, we will be celebrating the Zelda series’ biggest and best baddies all week long! On top of that, some of this week’s festivities will be focused on the Blood Moon itself, as well as other strange cosmic phenomena. But for me, this week is just an excuse to make random references to one of my favorite games right now: Bloodborne!

Last Week’s Contest:

The King knew that the Blood Moon was on its way. That’s why he rallied his troops last week.

Here are our non-photo caption winners:

  • DYLDW: “Some of you may die, but that is a sacrifice I’m willing to make.”
  • Zonai: King: Now, go forth my unstoppable legions! Charge onto the battlefield and……………………gat stuck at the first Bokoblin you find………
  • Hello: “SOLIDIERS!
This is supposed to be a secret, but what your supposed to do is to run around aimlessly and hit random things THE WHOLE ENTIRE time. Got that?”
  • Porter Frost: “Go my legions and do the thing that is most hard for me to do, show my daughter that I actually care about her!!!”
  • Molly O’Kami: King Rhoam: Okay, everyone, listen well! The attack pattern is as follows: Move to your right, sideways. Once you reach the end of the field, move forward, down a step, and then left. Once you reach the other end of the field, Move forward, down a step, then return to moving left. As the enemy fires at you and your comrades fall in battle, continue in your formation but speed up your movements.
FOR HYRULE! (…You know, that might make for a fun game.)

This Week’s Contest:

Fear the old blood.

Here are the guidelines:

  • Please refrain from using offensive material (racial, sexual, overuse of offensive language, etc.) We want to make the contest fun and accessible for fans of all ages. When in doubt, keep it Nintendo.
  • If you don’t have the ability to edit the image, just leave it as a comment. We make sure to have a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Photo editing and manipulation (i.e. Photoshop) is allowed, but these entries will be part of a separate list of winners for this category.
  • Everyone is entitled to their own opinion at Zelda Dungeon. In fact, we encourage discussion based on those opinions. However, please do not insult other fans’ work. What may be funny to one person may not hold true for another… and that’s OK.
  • Have fun and be creative!

Don’t forget to check back throughout the week and upvote your favorites, and, who knows?  Maybe you will be one of next week’s winners.
