ssmov Zelda Universe is holding auditions for its next film project, Skyward Sword: The Movie. This project is similar to ZU’s Hyrule Warriors: The Movie, in that Lead Media Editor Alexander Trevino is auditioning voice actors who will dub over all of the cutscenes from Skyward Sword and these will be strung together into a full length film. Auditions are open to the public from June 25th through July 9th, and audition tapes can be sent in here. For more details, hit the jump!

Characters in need of voice actors include:
Link
Zelda
Groose
Fi
Ghirahim
Impa (Adult)
Impa (Elder)
Gaepora
Demise
Cawlin
Strich
Professor Owlan
Faron
Eldin
Lanayru
Levias

Each character has a set of three audition lines which can be found on the audition website. Any submitted auditions are available for the public to listen to, and constructive criticism is welcome. Here are some pointers from Alexander Trevino:

“-Please treat all people politely and with respect.
-When asking for feedback, in the comments below, I will do my best to provide as much as I can. Everyone is encouraged to provide feedback on one’s audition as well. Or even to show vocal support.
-Any form of verbal or cyber abuse will not be tolerated.
-If you wish to redo your audition, let me know in the comments. I will have to delete them so you can re-submit your audition lines.
-You can audition for as many characters as you like!
-These auditions last for two weeks, ending in the night of Thursday, July 9th.”

Once the cast list is decided (both main voice actors and understudies will be cast for most characters), it will go up on the audition website as well as Zelda Universe’s Facebook and Twitter. Those cast will then receive full scripts for their characters and schedules for when recordings are due. All actors will be given full credit for their contributions.

Have any of you watched Hyrule Warriors: The Movie and have advice for Skyward Sword voiceover hopefuls? Are there any other Zelda games you’d like to be dubbed over in the future? Let us know in the comments!
