Zelda Universe is holding auditions for its next film project, Skyward Sword: The Movie. This project is similar to ZU’s Hyrule Warriors: The Movie, in that Lead Media Editor Alexander Trevino is auditioning voice actors who will dub over all of the cutscenes from Skyward Sword and these will be strung together into a full length film. A Day in Hyrule Fanfilm

YouTube member and fan film maker Shanna May recently uploaded a new video titled A Day in Hyrule featuring Shanna and Dexter as they travel through the park with their guardian fairies on the way to Lake Hylia. The video imitates the games in that there are no voices heard from either character. Instead there are text menus containing their words modeled after those from the later games in the series. An amazing new fan-made live action Zelda teaser trailer produced by The Zelda Project in collaboration with Player Piano was recently published on YouTube. The trailer portrays Ocarina of Time era Link riding on Epona in an open field on his way to confront Ganondorf in the stormy castle on the horizon. When I was younger, my best friend Booch and I had this pastime of sitting together and discussing fantasy films. There have been many attempts at making films out of our beloved game franchises—many terrible, and Zelda is no exception. However, last year we got a treat. While it may not have been an outright Zelda film, Escape captured something essential to the Zelda franchise that makes it so special: escapism, fittingly enough. It spread across the internet pretty quickly, but there was definitely room for more exploration—and director Kennedy Baruch wants to do just that. He recently announced on his YouTube channel that a feature-length version called Princess in Another Castle is being made. The plans are ambitious: better quality, better character development, and more games.
