Welcome back to another installment of Artists of Legend! We are right in the middle of the yearly Zelda themed art event Linktober. If you missed the first week’s coverage of Linktober you can check out the roundup here. If you want to check out more Zelda artwork that was not featured this week then be sure to follow the hashtags Linktober and ArtistsofLegend on Twitter and Instagram.

This week’s art will come from all of this year’s calendars, Main, Shadow, and Quest. So let’s get started and see what’s been created this week!

Day 8 on the Shadow calendar saw creators facing up with “Majora,” and Kristine Padagdag (@kristine_daae) on Twitter gives us a beautiful and colorful pastel drawing of Majora’s Mask. The colors look like they leap right off the page.

Day 9 on the Main Calendar saw everyone’s take on “Deity,” and Outset Emporium (@outset.emporium) on Instagram knocks it out of the park with a piece inspired by statues of mythological women. This work of Hylia is so breathtaking!

Day 10 on the Main Calendar saw Princess Zelda as the subject. JustAPixelThing (@JustAPixelThing) on Twitter celebrated her actual birthday on the 10th with Zelda’s Birthday Cake a la Four Swords Adventure. I hope you had a great birthday! What a delicious looking cake!

Day 11 on the Main Calendar saw creators looking at all of the different “Monsters/Beasts” within the Zelda series. I loved the Lizalfos piece created by ebee (@itsisbee) on Twitter!

There are a lot of monsters within the Zelda series and it was very cool to see how everyone took on the prompt. Ashley (@pickledrawsstuff) on Instagram showed off one of Tears of the Kingdom‘s paraglider fabrics for a unique take on the prompt.

On Day 12 on the Shadow Calendar social media was flooded with hoards of “Keese!” Linktober’s very own Captain, Joel Siegel (@joeldsiegal) on Twitter gave us their rendition of the bat-like creature.

Day 13 of the Main and Shadow calendars saw everyone looking at their favorite “Spirits.” Esther (@estmorzel) on Instagram showed off a battle between Link and Bellumbeck from Phantom Hourglass!

Now to end the week with Day 14, the big bad of The Legend of Zelda, “Ganon/Ganondorf.” that_artist_calista on Instagram takes a very unique approach on the prompt and is having Link paint Ganondorf!  Such fun piece!

That’s it for this week’s round up of Linktober art! Don’t fret, there’s still time to join in on the fun! You don’t have to participate in the whole event, you can do the whole month or just a day or two. All creators and creations are welcome! Be sure to use those hashtags so we can see your awesome work.

What did you think of this week’s artwork? Did you have a favorite piece from this week? Let us know in the comments down below and stay tuned throughout the month of October for more Artists of Legend x Linktober!
