Artists of Legend: Breath of the Wild Sequel Hype Continues

Hey everyone! Welcome back to Artists of Legend. We’re continuing to celebrate the announcement of the sequel to Breath of the Wild with loads of submissions and a few new challenges! Also, because of the proximity to Linktober, and because of the many submissions that we’d still like to feature before we’re flooded with tons of new ones, we will be doubling the number of featured submissions each week! I hope you’ll continue to enjoy this series!

Submitted Artwork
Last week, we asked you to create artwork of short-haired Zelda, as she’s seen in the trailer for the sequel to Breath of the Wild. And you absolutely blew us away with an overwhelming number of submissions! Unfortunately, we aren’t able to feature all of them this week, but we hope to be able to feature them at a future date! There were also several submissions that I’m saving for this week’s prompt, but more on that later. Now, here’s a bunch of awesome submitted artwork!

This Week’s Challenge
We’re going to continue to keep up the hype for Breath of the Wild 2 for a couple more weeks! This week, we’d like you to create artwork of Breath of the Wild 2 Link and Zelda together. Once again, many of you have already created and submitted fan art for this, and those pieces will be featured next week. However, you’re still totally free to make and submit even more art for it! We’ll have more prompts for the Breath of the Wild sequel in coming weeks, so stay tuned! Be creative, go crazy, and have fun!
As always, here are the rules for artwork in this series.
- Keep things clean. Zelda Dungeon should be safe for all ages, so don’t go creating foul images, anything too risque, or anything NSFW.
- Stick to the main idea, but feel free to be creative with it. If you want to draw a specific scene from one of the games, go ahead; if you want to come up with something similar to a scene from one of the games with a twist on it, that’s great too.
- Any form of art is acceptable as long as it somehow displays the mentioned scene. You can draw with a pencil and paper, paint on a canvas, make pixel art on a computer, weave, carve, create the scene with Zelda figurines, even do metal work if that’s your thing. Go crazy!
- While you can submit your work in the comment section, the preferred methods are putting your work in the comment section here on Zelda Dungeon, or Tweeting or posting on Instagram with #artistsoflegend. It makes it easier for me to find the art when you submit it.
- Do not steal art from someone else.
- Do not insult other people’s art. Peaceful critiques and thoughts are one thing; direct insults are another.
- There’s no pressure. Just have fun!
