Aonuma confirms Dark World for Zelda 3DS

Zelda director, Eiji Aonuma, has confirmed in an interview with CNET that the Dark World previously experienced in A Link to the Past will indeed be making a reappearance for the game’s sequel, Zelda 3DS. Because Zelda 3DS will be placed in the same overworld as A Link to the Past, many fans wondered whether the Light and Dark worlds would make a long-awaited return. As a game-defining mechanism, this is exciting news and should come as a delight to plenty of gamers waiting eagerly to lay their hands on this much-anticipated title! Although confirming the dark and light worlds for Zelda 3DS, Mr. Aonuma made no mention as to whether this is the exact mechanic used in the original SNES classic.
