Nintendo has announced via its financial report that A Link Between Worlds has managed to reach 2.18 million units in sales since launch. If you take into consideration that A Link Between Worlds only launched late in November 2013 then this figure only accounts for one and a half months of sales. This is an incredible statistic showing just how popular the latest handheld Zelda title truly is.

According to Nintendo, The Wind Waker HD has also sold over one million units since launching in October 2013 which is equally impressive when you understand that only 5.86 million Wii U consoles have been purchased since its launch. By these figures we can notice that roughly one in six Wii U owners decided to pick up The Wind Waker HD which is, overall, a positive statistic.
