A Sequel to Breath Of The Wild is in Development – First Look Trailer

An unexpected yet incredible surprise for Zelda fans served as the final reveal of this year’s Nintendo E3 Direct: a full sequel to Breath of the Wild is currently in development! No expected release window for the game has been provided, but news on this front will be updated as soon as it is received. From the first look trailer footage, it appears that Link and Zelda will face off against Ganon, who has taken corporeal form. Zelda is also sporting a noticeably shorter haircut, perhaps as a more practical solution to an adventure throughout Hyrule.
The announcement of a sequel to Breath of the Wild is one that likely few fans could have seen coming, yet it is sure to have caused a stir in the gaming community at large. Breath of the Wild was praised by critics when it launched in 2017, and it was one of the highest selling games for the Nintendo Switch. If the awards won by its predecessor are anything to go by, fans can expect this sequel to live up to all expectations.
