Starting tomorrow, November 28th, all Nintendo World Stores will be offering a free Nintendo Power T-shirt to anyone who spends $25 or more in store. There are two shirts, both bear the classic Nintendo Power logo on the front, but one is grey with an 8-bit Mario on the back and the words “YOUR PRINCESS IS IN ANOTHER CASTLE!” while the other is black with an 8-bit Link on the back accompanied by the phrase “IT’S DANGEROUS TO GO ALONE!”…

The World of Nintendo line of toys in partnership with Jakks Pacific are releasing a new assortment of retro styled plush characters, and featured as one of the three to be released is Link in all his NES 8-bit glory. The Pixelated Link plush will be released in July across the U.S. and can be purchased on his own or as a set from various retailers. Pre-orders are available now! Indie developer Bertil Hörberg, best known for the iOS, Android and 3DS action platformer Gunman Clive, has a new game on the way. Much like how his last title, a western-themed side-scroller with stylized brown-tinted backdrops, borrowed many ideas from classic Mega Man, his next work seems to be a full-out tribute to The Legend of Zelda on NES. It’s not every day you see 2D become 3D. This fun little creation was found at the Vancouver Maker Faire held on June 1st and 2nd.
