Crafted 3D 8-Bit Link

Suni It’s not every day you see 2D become 3D. This fun little creation was found at the Vancouver Maker Faire held on June 1st and 2nd. This multi-city event is hosted by Make magazine to “celebrate arts, crafts, engineering, science projects and the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) mindset”. This particular Maker Fair at Vancouver is only considered a “Mini” Maker Faire. These “mini” Faires are more community based and international than the larger “Flagship” fairs. These larger ones are held at different times during the year in NYC, New York, Detroit, Michigan, and San Mateo, California. Sadly, almost no information can be found about the Link sculpture. I can’t find anything about who created it, what it is made out of, or any other details, so if someone has some knowledge about it’s origins, please comment for others to see.
