Happy Friday, everyone. Let’s get the weekend started the right way with Zelda Informer’s weekly Photoshop Contest. With E3 only a few days away, we are intensely waiting to see games like Zelda U in action. And the wait is almost over! But just because we have a general idea of what to expect from next week’s festivities, the gaming industry most likely has a few more surprises up its sleeves. We might as well use our Photoshop skills to predict and speculate on the announcements and surprises coming our way next week. Join in the fun, and be sure to check out the winners of last week’s contest: Grant a Wish with the Triforce.

Last Week’s Contest:

Last week, we organized our own Make a Wish Foundation for the many characters of the Zelda series, by granting their deepest desires with the Triforce.

Challenge Mode

One of last week’s Challenge Mode rules was to grant the wish of a Zelda character that has only appeared in a single game. Artist Hylian Ticipated decided to fulfill the wish of Coro from Twilight Princess, but in a way we weren’t expecting. It seems that Coro had actually wished upon the Triforce in his previous life as beloved painter Bob Ross. After years of sharing the joys of painting, nature, and happy thoughts with millions of viewers, Ross wished for a peaceful life in a magical world. Who would have expected that this wish would place him in Faron Woods as Coro, where Link would one day meet and serenade him with jazzy guitar? Just in time for the premiere of Ross’ show on Netflix, this absolutely creative entry wins the challenge this week.

This Week’s Contest: E3 Surprises and Predictions

Nintendo and the rest of the gaming industry have already given us a lot of things to look forward to at E3 next week. But as the day gets ever close to the opening of doors at the LA Convention Center, we can’t help but wonder what type of surprises are still to come. E3 just wouldn’t feel right without something completely unexpected that gets us to jump to our feet in excitement.

The contest this week is to ‘shop an E3 prediction or unexpected surprise. Your entry can relate to Zelda U, Nintendo, or any other aspect of the show; and your entry can range from something plausible to something absolutely ridiculous. Feel free to share whatever announcement, demo, or live event shenanigans you want to see next week, using either the images in our gallery below or anything else on the internet.
