Hopefully you didn’t skip the first two words in that headline because this is the time for another ZI weekly Photoshop Contest! I’m sure we’re all excited for E3 next week, and I’m sure we all have ideas of what we want to see announced. Well, why not use Photoshop to make those predictions a reality? Before we jump to the chase though, we need to first look at the winners from last week’s contest: Zelda Clone Crossover.

Last Week’s Contest:

After a certain Daily Debate, I thought it a good idea to create a contest revolving around the games inspired by The Legend of Zelda. Some people may have still been salty about my use of the word “clone,” but that didn’t stop last week’s winners from showing off some amazing crossovers.

Challenge Mode

Playing off the word “clone,” last week’s challenge rule asked artists to include three different versions of Princess Zelda. Photoshop Contest veteran Hylian Ticipated accepted the challenge and brought us a cross between The Legend of Zelda and Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon. The ‘shop placed Princess Zelda, Tetra, and Sheik into the magical, 64-bit world of Japan, proving to me that Sheik is the only mystical ninja we really need.

This Week’s Contest: E3 2015 Predictions

The hype train is here! Next week, in the heart of Los Angeles, the video game industry will collect together to bring the world exciting announcements, huge surprises, and tons of games. (I’ll be there!) Nintendo’s digital event will definitely showcase the next few years’ biggest games, even if Zelda U probably won’t be there. Hyrule Warriors on the 3DS is still cool, right?

Anyway, the contest this week is show us your predictions for this year’s E3, no matter how fantastical or unlikely they are. Maybe you want to see Reggie Fils-Amie in Hyrule Warriors; maybe you want to see Tingle in a new F-Zero game. Whatever it is you want to see in the Nintendo Direct or on the E3 show floor is welcome in this contest. Go ahead and make use of the images in our gallery below, or anything else you find on the internet.
