Howdy, Zelda fans! I hope you’re ready to get going on another entry of our weekly Photoshop Contest. The focus of this week’s contest is the Triforce, the mystical relic of unfathomable power that has served as a symbol for the Zelda series since its inception. The Triforce houses many mysterious qualities, but a primary function is that it will grant the wishes of those who touch it. Throughout the series, only a few individuals have touched the completed Triforce and fulfilled their wish; but the contest this week will hopefully give a few more characters the chance to make their wishes come true. Join us inside, where you’ll also find the winners of last week’s contest: What Will the Zelda U E3 Demo Look Like?

Last Week’s Contest:

We’re all excited to see Zelda U‘s lengthy demos from E3. Rather than wait in strained anticipation, we gave contestants the chance to speculate on these demos’ content.

This Week’s Contest: Grant a Wish with the Triforce

The Triforce is known to grant a wish for those who lay their hands upon it, but only a select few Zelda characters have gotten their hands on the sacred triangle and used its power to fulfill such a wish. King Daphnes wished for the full submersion of Hyrule in The Wind Waker, Link and Zelda wished for a brighter future for Lorule in A Link Between Worlds, and Link undid the evils of Ganon in A Link to the Past. These are all rather important wishes from series mainstays, but what type of wish would the Triforce grant if brought forth from other Zelda characters?

The contest this week is to show a Zelda side-character make a wish using the Triforce. This character can be someone plot-centric like Midna or Impa, or someone more tertiary like Malo, Talon, or the Hand in the Toilet. As long as you show your chosen character and their wish, you’re free to ‘shop any creation you want. Use the images in our gallery below if you want, but feel free to use anything else on the internet as well.

Challenge Mode

For those that who want to test their skills with something more challenging, we have a few Challenge Rules for you to follow:

1. The wish must be made by a character that has only appeared in one Zelda game.

2. Your entry must include an electric guitar.

If you think you’re up to the challenge, include the phrase Challenge Accepted with your submission. Remember, Challenge Mode submissions follow the same rules and guidelines of the base Photoshop Contest in addition to the Challenge Rules.

Good luck!
