Zelda II Theme Similar to Gordon Lightfoot Song?

YouTube user GermWelfareNewMedia has uploaded a video comparing the Adventure of Link theme to the song “Sundown” by Gordon Lightfoot. While it does sound similar, I think it’s a bit of a stretch to say it’s exactly the same. However, now when I start up Zelda II I can’t help thinking of “Sundown” as soon as I hear the theme and vice versa! Anyways to check out the video yourself go ahead and make the jump!
Did you hear the similarity? I looked up both songs separately to hear it a little better, but they do seem to sound alike. It’s pretty funny how such random things can end up sounding the same.
