Zelda Featured As Answer To Jeopardy! Clue on Monopoly Special Editions
Posted on October 20 2021 by Alexis S. Anderson
On Tuesday’s episode of Jeopardy!, The Legend of Zelda once again served as the basis of a clue, this time because of one of its board games. The nod appeared in the Jeopardy! round as the $1000 clue in the category “Monopoly: Special Editions.”
The clue read “TRIFORCE, HOOKSHOT & HYLIAN SHIELD ARE TOKENS IN THE EDITION BASED ON THIS VIDEO GAME FRANCHISE” and was answered correctly by current seven-game winner Jonathan Fisher. Fisher recently took down 38 game champion Matt Amodio, and given his Zelda knowledge I am certainly rooting for him to go on an impressive run of his own.
