Today’s Zelda Fanart Spotlight is on deviantart artist tunetherainbow‘s Zelda fanart, “Ending to a Legend”. In this fanart it features the artist’s own interpretation of A Link to the Past’s ending. Link and Princess Zelda have just laid the Master Sword to rest for what is considered to be the last time. The two are walking away from the pedestal holding the legendary sword and a golden emblem of the Triforce is shown on the ground before them.

The artist did a wonderful job portraying this area and scene. The watercolor background helps bring the focus on the Hero, Princess, and the Master Sword. It also brings to attention the triforce emblem located in the lower right of the piece. The rays of light peering through the forest area help to add more depth to the piece and make it seem more realistic.

I love the way the artist portrayed this scene. It fits so well with the ending of this glorious game.

The artist has more Zelda-related fanart located in their gallery. Please go check it out and let us know what you thought of this fanart in the comments section below. Also stay tuned for the next Zelda Fanart Spotlight! Until then!
