Since August 2021, Zelda Dungeon’s YouTube Team has been creating Tier Rankings lists for fans to discuss, debate, and enjoy. Taking inspiration from Tri Force Heroes, the show was titled Tier Force Heroes. With the release of Tears of the Kingdom, the YouTube Team saw the perfect opportunity to pay tribute to the latest Zelda game. The series has relaunched with a fantastic new title: Tiers of the Kingdom. The new show retains all the wit, joy, and fun that fans have come to expect from the Zelda Dungeon YouTube Team while also paying tribute to the latest game in the Zelda series.

In order to celebrate the new name, the crew have created an exciting new episode for fans to sink their teeth into. Gooey, McKenna, Corey, and Nico spend more than an hour debating, discussing, and ranking all of the Zonai Devices from Tears of the Kingdom. There more than twenty-five Zonai Devices, and the crew rank them from S-Tier to F-Tier. One of the challenges of ranking the Zonai Devices in Tears of the Kingdom is that the game allows players to interact with the game world in so many different ways. Some players generally ignored crafting and Zonai Devices, while others created imaginative contraptions with them. While some players may choose to solve puzzles or problems with Zonai Devices like fans or rockets, others fans might completely ignore these tools in favor of other Zonai Devices. At the beginning of the video, Corey notes that there are some Zonai Devices that he has hardly ever used while playing Tears of the Kingdom, which is something many viewers will connect with when reflecting on their own playthroughs.

If you enjoyed this episode, you can check out the full catalog of Tier Ranking episodes on the Zelda Dungeon YouTube channel. Each episode of the series involves discussions and ranking various elements from across the Zelda series including characters, collectibles, and much more.
