Zelda Dungeon Wiki: Storms Passed 1200 Articles

The Zelda Dungeon Wiki has continued to grow at a fairly rapid rate. Just nine days ago we made a post announcing that we had surpassed the 1100 article mark. Well flash forward just over a week later and we’ve now passed the 1200 article mark. Come and join us as we set off on building the most complete and detailed Zelda encyclopedia online. It takes just seconds to create an account and you can then help us create and edit articles at the Wiki.

While there are 1,237 articles presently at the Wiki as of this post, there are another 1,436 Wanted Pages waiting to be created. Not only do we have pages for specific items, enemies, characters, and locations in the Zelda series, but we are also starting to shift some of our resource and guide based pages to the Zelda Dungeon Wiki. I’m personally working on the Strategy Guides page, while Locke has been working the Interviews page.

More recently, the Wiki team has created some sweet looking tabs, making for quick access to content in a condensed form. Our resident Wiki administrators Locke and Matt have worked tiredly on these and I’m really proud of the results. If you check out the Skyward Sword page over at the Wiki, you’ll see these fancy tabs in action under the Bosses and Items categories. These are just one of the many features we have added and are planning on improving over the course of the next several months.

In the coming weeks, we plan on featuring articles here at the Zelda Dungeon index page fairly frequently. The Deku Baba article was the very first featured article here at the site and we like the level of detail that page has. In order to have more featured articles here at the site, we are in need of some wiki content managers. Basically, these are people that are frequent Wiki editors that have quality skills in grammar and wiki editing. Their jobs are to take good articles at the Zelda Dungeon Wiki and turn them into phenomenal ones that we can feature here at the site index page. We are constantly looking at our frequent editors in hopes of bringing some of them on board as official staff members of the site with the title, wiki content manager. So if you’ve ever wanted to help out at the site, be sure to create an account at the Wiki and help us out as an editor!
