The Zelda Dungeon Wiki has recently eclipsed the 1500 article mark and we are continuing to surge onward! Ever since linking up the Zelda Wii U and the Zelda 3DS links within the header of the website, we have seen substantial growth in Wiki visitors.

The next goal is… converting the rest of the links at the top of the site! Eventually all our ‘old’ game index pages will be direct links to the Zelda Dungeon Wiki. One of current projects is building the original Legend of Zelda index page over at the Wiki. Once that wiki page has been polished up, we will change the links in the header and then move on to the rest of the series. If you are looking for a way to help out with the site, the Zelda Dungeon Wiki could really use the extra hand.

As of the time writing this post, we are sitting at the 1,522 article mark. Additionally, there are 1,635 Wanted Pages that are just waiting to be created. This is where you can come in! It takes just seconds to Register an Account at the Wiki, and then you can immediately start contributing!

We could use your help in almost anyway that you can contribute. If you see a few spelling errors or minor details that need fixing, that would be of great help. It would be even better if you could help in establishing some of the many Wanted Pages. Furthermore, if you’d like, you could use the Zelda Dungeon Wiki to slingshot your way into a staff position here at the website. One of the current open positions is the Wiki Content Managers. I’ve listed the information and requirements for this position below.

Wiki Content Managers

  • No age requirement and little experience is needed.
  • Must have a Wiki account and have made a handful of quality edits.
  • Content managers can take on specific projects at the wiki such as all the enemies in Spirit Tracks, or the items in Link’s Awakening, and make sure that all the sections are complete and at the same high quality standard.
  • Managers can also make front page news posts here at the site, highlighting Featured Articles from the wiki. This would require polishing up a specific article over at the wiki and then drafting a front page news post about it.

Once you’ve registered and have made handful of quality edits, you can apply for this position by directly e-mailing me at mases26@gmail.com.

The Zelda Dungeon Wiki is the future of game content here at the site and we are pleased with its rapid growth the last several months. It still has quite a ways to go, but we are looking forward to working with you all in making the Zelda Dungeon Wiki your definitive, one-stop-shop for all Zelda information.
