Zelda Combined with Skrillex Gives…?

…SkrillexQuest. Yes, a new browser based game has been created that combines the mechanics of Zelda with the music of one of the biggest dubstep artists. Not only that, but the premise of the game is that the NES cartridge that the game is running on has collected dust, and this leaves the inside world a corrupted mess. Your job is to fight, slash, and wub wub your way through and save the land! Hit the jump for more!

I hope that all of you that are reading this are Zelda fans, and perhaps some of you are already acquainted with Skrillex. If so, this game will hopefully be a grand union of your two loves. And even if dubstep isn’t your thing, I think you’ll still like playing the game, and there’s always the option to mute.

In addition to this, the art style (minus the glitches) very much resemble Superbrothers: Sword and Sorcery EP a game which I’m very fond of. Though the gameplay is vasty different from Sword and Sorcery, the look of the game brings back a similar feeling.

And although this is an exuberant promotion of Skrillex’s flavor of wub wub, the game itself is definitely worth your time. Why not indulge in a radical, Zelda inspired game once in a while?

If you’re interested, head on over to the official page to play the game!

Did you have a chance to play the game? What did you think? Tell us down in the comments!
