Write in Style With These Breath of the Wild-Inspired DIY Arrow Pencils
Posted on February 24 2020 by Alexis S. Anderson
Nintendo Ambassador GandaKris recently released her first Breath of the Wild-inspired NintenDIY tutorial. She modified unvarnished wood pencils to resemble the design of Link’s in-game arrows. The resulting implements are not only adorable, but functional. All potential crafters need are pencils, feathers, scissors, super glue, chords, polymer clay, and an exacto knife. While these pencils aren’t mightier than the Master Sword, they make for a striking way to display your love of the series wherever you may write.
Making these arrow-pencils requires:
- Natural Wood Unvarnished Craft Pencils
- White, blue, and light blue feathers
- Thin blue, orange, and yellow chords
- Grey polymer clay
- Scissors
- Super Glue
- Exacto Knife
GandaKris encourages anyone who makes this craft to post about it using #NintenDIY and tag her @MissGandaKris on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter for a chance to have it featured in a future video. You can find the rest of her Zelda-related DIY videos here, or check out her other NintenDIYs here which include crafts inspired by Animal Crossing, Splatoon, Mario, and more.
What do you think of this creative DIY? Are there any other motifs from Breath of the Wild you think she should try to make a craft of next? Share your thoughts in the comments!
