WF2015WLinkMajorasMaskNendoHeader Wonder Festival is the world’s largest gathering for figures and takes place twice a year. This year’s winter variant occurred on February 8th in Chiba, Japan and showcased a plethora of figures, both new and upcoming. Of particular note, especially to collectors, were the two new Link figures that were displayed. One of them is a scaled figure of Link, while the other is a Nendoroid of Link based on his upcoming appearance in Majora’s Mask 3D!

The first figure is a 1/7th scale version of the Skyword Sword incarnation of Link and the other is a Nendoroid of Link from Majora’s Mask 3D. For reference, the Nendoroid will be similar to this, and will likely include a mask or two from Majora’s Mask.

Below are some pictures taken from the event:

The two figures appear to be unfinished based on early screenshots, but we do know that the scaled Link figure is to be released sometime later this year. It’s unfortunate that we didn’t get an actual look at the Majora’s Mask 3D Nendoroid, but I’d say the craftsmanship of the other figure more than makes up for it. Max Factory and Good Smile Company are known for their amazing attention to detail, so the quality is hardly surprising.

What are your thoughts on the figures? Do you see yourself buying any of them?
