Wind Waker HD Now Being Sold Without Gold Cover Art In North America

When The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD was first released in North America the cover art displayed a beautiful gold overlay to the design. In Europe and in Japan the cover art was more colorful, it released in both countries without the additional gold detailing. Now it would appear as if Nintendo has started releasing this more colorful design in North America as well since the packaging has now been spotted in the wild. There is no word on why we would now be starting to see the different cover art after the game has already been out for almost two years. But if this is true and for some reason you haven’t picked up The Wind Waker HD yet, you might want to get it now before the gold packaging is all gone!
