Less than a week ago I made an update stating that our Zelda Wiki had surpassed the 2,500 article mark. Well, less than 7 days have passed and we have now cleared 2,600 articles. As of the writing of this post, the Wiki sits at 2,605 articles, with another 1,236 Wanted Pages waiting to be created.

One of the projects that I’ve personally been working on, is the Spirit Tracks Enemies category. In particular, we have partnered with deviantART user TimoteiLOL, who has created over 30 fan artwork images for many of the enemies and bosses that appear in the game. You can see all of these glorious pieces in the new Spirit Tracks Enemies Gallery. Right in this post you can see one of my favorite art pieces in the form of a Yellow Spinut.

There is something about the Spirit Tracks enemies that I really enjoyed. In the first DS Zelda title, Phantom Hourglass brought back a lot of classic Zelda enemies and many of the reoccuring ones. However, Spirit Tracks introduced quite a large variety of brand new enemies into the franchise. The Spinut was one of them, but some of the others include Octive, an enemy that somewhat resembles that of a water octorok or Spume from previous Zelda titles, as well as Heatoise, a brand new turtle based enemy.

While we have partnered with TimoteiLOL to bring you these fan artwork images of the enemies. There are still some additional enemies and bosses that he has yet to complete. He’ll be working on these over the course of the next few months and we’ll slowly but surely be bringing them all to you at the Wiki. For now, you should definitely become a watcher of his work at deviantART to support his awesome Zelda creations.

Interested in helping at the Wiki? It takes just seconds to Register an Account at the Wiki, and then you can immediately start contributing! We could use your help in almost anyway that you can contribute. If you see a few spelling errors or minor details that need fixing, that would be of great help. It would be even better if you could help in establishing some of the many Wanted Pages. Furthermore, for those of you who are members of the Dungeon Gaming Forums, you could earn yourself a special banner and usergroup color by becoming a frequent Wiki editor.

The Zelda Dungeon Wiki is the future of game content here at the site and we are pleased with its rapid growth the last several months. It still has quite a ways to go, but we are looking forward to working with you all in making the Zelda Dungeon Wiki your definitive, one-stop-shop for all Zelda information.
