Wife & Husband Duo Explain What Makes the Horses in Breath of the Wild the Best Beasts Around

There’s so much to love about Breath of the Wild: the sights, the sounds, the battles, and even the beasts that are sewn into the land of Hyrule. It should come as no surprise that some of the most trustworthy creatures around are the horses. Though I will admit that after a certain point in the later half of the game it was rare for me to use a horse, they were definitely still fun to ride regardless.
An in-depth look at the horses from Breath of the Wild comes to us from the wife and husband duo of Lockstin & Gnoggin. The video goes over the ins and outs of what makes these noble steeds the best beasts in the game. Lockstin goes over the horse types, the history of these types of horses, why they would win so many awards if they really existed, their design, and even their amazingly detailed animations & gameplay mechanics.
You can really tell by watching this video how accurately Nintendo made the horses in this game. Horse taming seems to be the only thing that wasn’t quite as accurate, as Lockstin admits that the process was very simplified in Breath of the Wild.
