We Cast Nintendo Employees as Zelda Characters for Netflix’s TV Series

It’s no secret we’re excited for the potential live-action TV series coming from Netflix. Today we as a staff decided to have a little fun with this idea and take Nintendo staff members and cast them as characters for the show. Feel free to add to our list yourself, just make sure you have a good reason for their inclusion!

Ganondorf – Reggie Fils-Aime

Reason: He can shoot lasers from his eyes. Doesn’t get any more evil than that at Nintendo.

Link – Jonathan Potts

Reason: “Excuuuuuuse me, Princess!”

Princess Zelda – Leslie Swan

Reason: She looks the part.

Happy Mask Salesman – Shigeru Miyamoto

Reason: Always smiling.

Loftwing – Eiji Aonuma

Reason: Technically he danced as a Cucco, but he totally looks like a loftwing.

Tingle – Bill Trinen

Reason: Because he’s holding something most of us won’t have. Plus… look at the guy!

Kaepora Gaebora – Satoru Iwata

Reason: “Please Understand” x100

Skull Kid – Masahiro Sakurai

Reason: Technically he no longer works at Nintendo, but imagining him with Majora’s Mask just feels all too right.

Navi – Krysta Yang

Reason: Just because she deserves to be in the show.
